 "Extremely Dangerous" 2010-01-13
By Stephanie Z.
Do not purchase this. I have had one for about six years, and the blade recently broke off while in use, broke through the plastic container, and flew across the room. As a result of luck only, no one was in its path. Customer service had no real response; they suggested that I pay $20 to replace the broken parts.

An examination of the broken blade shows that this is likely to be a recurring problem with this model and any other Cuisinarts using a similar blade. It is clear that this structural failure is due to a lack of reinforcement of the blades at the point of riveting. The removal of material for the placement of the rivets, the thinness of the material, and the large amount of leverage placed upon the rivets by the longer blades led to the structural failure of the part. This failure could have happened at any time, and could have caused severe injury to the user. The tempering necessary to create blades that stay sharp is the same tempering that makes it impossible to have such thin, un-reinforced parts. The blades should either be made of thicker material, or have a wider section in the area of rivet contact to avoid failure.

 "Damaged" 2010-01-09
By G. Spradling
When Received it, the package was badly damaged in shipping. Bought as a gift and had to buy another one because I could not give it in the state it was in. Returned the product two weeks ago. Giving a little extra time for a refund due to the holidays but will not accept any longer. They were very nice about returning the product. It's the refund part that I'm starting to wonder about. It would be easier just to go to a store and buy it.

 "effective little chopper" 2010-01-01
By Matthew Stout
I grew up having a similar chopper in the home and have been searching for one of my own for some time now. I can safely say this is as close to the old model I had growing up. It chops nuts and pretzels like I remember and makes dicing and chopping veggies a breeze. I highly recommend this or a similar product for those jobs that require a lot of chopping, quick.

 "Great Mini-processor" 2009-12-28
By S. Dunlap (Austin, TX USA)
I have owned large food processors (6 cups+), and never used them. They came with lots of parts, lots of things to wash, and never seemed to do a great job of anything. This handy, easy to use, easy to wash (has only 3 parts), has been great. It easily chops hard nuts and spices as well as makes great pesto, salsa, etc.

Its small enough for my tiny kitchen, and I leave it out all the time. I have only owned it for a few months, so cannot say anything about durability. However, I own a Cuisinart blender and pannini press, and when I had a problem with each (after 1 year of owning them), I contacted Cuisinart, gave them my serial numbers, and they shipped replacement parts (and in one case, a whole new grill) with no questions asked, for FREE!!! I have been so happy with their customer service that I continue to buy Cuisinart products.

 "Fantastic for Baby Food" 2009-12-24
By Alice Luong (New York, NY USA)
I was looking for a little food processor specifically to make baby food. We originally bought a 6-cup processor that turned out to be way too big. This little machine is the perfect size and is surprisingly powerful. I read the other reviews and knew that it was going to be good, but I didn't know that it was going to be this good! This tiny appliance has exceeded all of my expectations. I made chicken and broccoli today for our baby girl (see link below) and she loved it!
